Laura Fernández (b. Terrassa, Spain, 1981) is a writer, journalist, and literary and music critic. She currently contributes to El Cultural, La Luna de Metrópoli, Qué Leer, El Mundo, Vanity Fair, and Go Magazine. Before working fulltime as a writer, Fernández was a TV reporter and worked at Súper Pop magazine—and way before that she worked in a video store and formed a band. The author of numerous short stories, her debut novel Wendolin Kramer was followed by the galactic sitcom, Bienvenidos a Welcome (Welcome to Welcome). Her third novel, La chica zombie (The zombie girl), will be published in Spain in 2013.
